EKWB EK-HD 10/12mm PETG Tube (500mm x4) and EK-HD 10/12mm PETG Inserts (x10) Bundle

EK-HD PETG Tube is solid type PETG tubing intended for use with EK-HD push-in adapters and EK-HDC series compression fittings. The tubing may be heat treated to achieve certain bends. For expert users only! It is mandatory to chamfer the edges of freshly cut tube in order to prevent gasket (O-ring) damage. EK recommends a 0.5mm x 45 degree chamfer. The EK-HD PETG Inserts are EK's way of battling against potential hazards that the use of PETG tubes present. PETG tubes are extremely popular because of the ease of use and their flexibility. On the other hand, PETG tubing, especially the thin tube wall models (10/12) are prone to deformation when exposed to high temperatures (40 degree C and above). The deformation rate depends on the duration and maximum temperature reached. These temperatures can be reached with pump failures, water block clogging, etc. The EK-HD PETG Inserts provide a safety measure for 12mm OD / 10mm ID PETG tubes which prevents the tube wall from collapsing inside the compression fitting. The EK-HD PETG Insert is low profile and it is not visible when in use with any of the EK hard tubing fittings.
