Alphacool Eisstation Reservoir and Laing DDC310 Pump

With the Alphacool ice station you get a compact expansion tank that fits in almost every housing. The ice station is available in three versions: the DDC, D5 or DC-LT version.

The Alphacool ice station expansion tank is extremely compact and is available in three versions that are based on the desired pump. A D5, a DDC and a variant for the DC-LT pump are available. The pumps are installed in the base of the ice station and are not visible from the outside. The bottom of the ice station consists of a metal plate, which increases the stability of the ice station.

It is possible to screw the ice station onto a 2.5 “bracket for SSD hard drives. It can also be installed in a 5.25 "bay. In both cases, the screws are attached using the special decoupling screws provided. This minimizes the transmission of vibrations to the housing and the overall operation is significantly quieter. Another mounting option is an included Velcro fastener. One part of the Velcro fastener is simply glued to the bottom of the ice station while the other part is glued in the housing. Then the ice station only has to be pressed with the bottom onto the counterpart in the housing. The size of the Velcro fastener ensures a secure position even during transport. Connection
options An IN and OUT with G1 / 4 thread can be found on the head side with the illuminated logo. You can change the color of the logo with the optionally available modding kit. A G1 / 4 "and a G3 / 8" connection are available in the cover. The G3 / 8 "connection makes filling the ice station easier due to the larger diameter and can alternatively be used as a lighting module for 5 mm LEDs. Two additional 5 mm LED spaces are also located in the floor and illuminate the part filled with water from below.

A special highlight is the choice of materials for the ice station. The lower part is covered with a high-quality soft-touch surface, which conveys an outstanding feel and look. The upper part and the actual expansion tank are not made of simple and quickly breaking plexiglass, but of extremely stable nylon. While normal reservoirs made of glass or plexiglass can crack or break even with small drop heights or improper handling, it is almost impossible to destroy the transparent container of the ice station.
