Alphacool Core XP3 CPU Water Block and Thermal Grizzly Intel 13th/14th Gen CPU Contact Frame Bundle, Brass

With the Alphacool Core XP3 Brass you get a very compact CPU water cooler for all common mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel. It offers the typically high Alphacool quality paired with excellent performance at a reasonable price.

High cooling performance thanks to the optimized radiator floor
The nickel-plated copper cooler base has an area of 56 x 56 mm with a cross-slit structure and only 0.4 x 0.4 mm thick pins through which the water can flow. Due to the extremely large cooling surface, the water can effectively absorb and transport the heat from the bottom of the cooler. The pin area is around 27.6 x 37.6 mm. This covers all mainstream CPUs cleanly, which ensures high cooling performance. The new multi-slotted nozzle plate was specially developed for this cooler in order to achieve a perfect interplay of water flow and flow onto the base plate.

Fast assembly
The holding frame is simply slipped over the CPU cooler. All mounting screws can be pre-assembled on this. Then the cooler is screwed on with the mounting screws, which are inserted from behind over the backplate. So that the installation is understandable and can be done easily, a well-illustrated manual with large render graphics is included

The Intel 13th and 14th Gen CPU Contact Frame is a mounting aid that replaces the motherboard's original Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) to enable better cooling performance of CPU coolers through optimized contact pressure.

Due to the changed dimensions of the Intel Raptor Lake (Intel Core 13th and 14th Gen) for the Intel Socket LGA1700 compared to the Socket 1200 processors (and older generations, such as Socket LGA115X) as well as the associated changes to the dimensions of the socket, New mounting brackets for CPU coolers have become necessary.

Additionally, the standard ILM only has contact points in the middle of the elongated CPU. Due to the resulting uneven contact pressure of the processor into the socket, the surface of the Integrated Heatspreader (IHS) bulges concavely, which means that the base plate of the CPU cooler rests primarily on the edges of the IHS and thus the thermal "hotspot" in the middle of the CPU is not covered.
