Started in 2007 as Murderbox PCs, XForma is the brainchild of artist and photographer Charles Harwood and his partner Callen Magier. Murderbox defined the company’s vision and set the standard for high-end PC cases with its refined styling, rugged materials and innovative approach to the custom PC builder.
In changing their name to XForma, the company made a nod to their case modding roots into a more modern business catering to the PC enthusiast crowd that they had come from. In April of 2015 their newest flagship case was made available for pre-order: the MBX MKII.
Building on the concepts of the original Murderbox, the XForma MBX MKII offers the same superb design and manufacture as its predecessor. Its heritage shows in its sleek appearance and in the add-ons available to make the MBX MKII unique. The popular midplate luminous panel returns in black or white, providing perfect diffused lighting to the main components above. New to the MKII is the dual top fan, a very stylized panel that fits the upper hole in the case and houses two low-speed 120mm case fans to help in exhausting heat from the interior. With nearly twenty different add-ons available, the MBX MKII is one of the most customizable chassis on the market today.
