steep learning curve, but results don't lieI prefer using LM to putty. I'm a weirdo, I know. But once you get used to the spread and the properties, I find it much easier to get an even layer compared to paste and the cooling profile is way better. Don't skimp on the protection though, get conformal coating and whatever you need to protect the parts you need to. I've put water-blocks on GPUs and delidded CPUs, I always use LM and Conductonaut Extreme.
