Thermal Grizzly AM5 Mycro Direct-Die CPU Cooler and KryoSheet Thermal Pad (33 x 33mm) Bundle, Without D-RGB

This bundle includes the Thermal Grizzly AM5 Direct-Die CPU water block and Thermal Grizzly KryoSheet thermal pad. 

The AM5 Mycro Direct-Die is a water cooler for AMD's Ryzen 7000 processors that sits directly on the chiplets of a deliddeten (decapitated) CPU. Constructed from nickel-plated copper, the direct-die water cooler offers outstanding thermal conductivity. This is further increased by an optimized structure of the microfins on the top. In addition, direct-die cooling eliminates a layer of heat conducting agent and the CPU's heat spreader compared to normal water cooling. This significantly improves the heat transfer from the CPU to the water cooling circuit. The cover of the AM5 Mycro Direct-Die is made of CNC-milled polyoxymethylene (POM) and has an inlet and outlet in the form of G1/4 inch threads.

The AM5 Mycro Direct-Die 's nickel-plated finish is compatible with traditional thermal compounds and gallium-based liquid metals. The nickel forms a barrier between the liquid metal and the copper cooler, preventing liquid metal from diffusing into the copper and minimizing alloy formation. As a result, repeated application of liquid metal is generally not necessary. A KryoSheet graphene thermal pad can be used as the thermal interface between the CPU and the AM5 Mycro Direct-Die for the most maintenance-free system possible. Since KryoSheet pads are electrically conductive, a cover is included to protect the electronic components on the CPU package.

Thermal Grizzly KryoSheet series can be used as an excellent alternative for thermal compounds from the higher performance segment. Similar to the Carbonaut pads, they have an adaptable surface with very high thermal conductivity. Compared to Carbonaut pads, KryoSheet offers a significantly higher thermal conductivity as a high-end product.

This increased thermal conductivity is based not only on the choice of material, but on the innovative manufacturing process. KryoSheet contains no liquid components and is therefore not subject to the usual aging that is the case with traditional thermal grease. Drying out is not possible.

The KryoSheet Graphene Pads feature a Z-direction stacked molecular structure. This optimized structure enables excellent and constant thermal conductivity. A specially developed manufacturing process is responsible for this, in which the hexagonal crystal structure of the graphite is broken up along the basal plane in order to be able to exploit the anisotropy of the thermal conductivity of the graphite. As a side effect of this complex manufacturing process, however, the electrical conductivity is also increased and the stability of the KryoSheet pads is affected, so that the pads are only to be used according to the instructions
