A needed accessoryEver find yourself wondering if your custom loop is just too complicated for a single D5 pump? That's where this shines. Get yourself another D5 (without anything else, just the pump) and setup this dual pump top. Clearly, they took the design choices from the once infamous (decade ago) Bitspower Dual Pump Top, and innovated on this design. The multiple locations for inlet & outlet make creating a loop enjoyable and unique without making it restrictive, allowing you to create and innovate in your own liking. My only gripe is the RGB is 4-pin 12v, making it the only part of my build to utilize this (Thus running a separate line just for these to my header). In addition, since it is 4-pin 12-v, side of the pump has it's own. If you have multiple of these headers, this will actually make it a partially addressable, but I do not. If Alphacool could do one thing to make this pump-top better, I'd argue it's that. Otherwise, for my use case (a 6ft long desk build), two of these, with 4 variable speed D5 pumps (and thus, more head pressure), made an otherwise silent experience while getting the appropriate flow for the complicated loop. 10/10, would recommend.

Alphacool Dual D5 Pump Top ReviewAlphacool has done a good job with this pump top. First of all the mounting collars and screws included ensure a good snug, leak free fit of the pumps. O rings are included and all pump mounting hardware. Included as well are stands that mount on the ends that allow for the block to be rotated in several different positions, but do cover the ports on the end of the pump top. (There may be more mounting positions I did not explore as I was in a hurry to get my rig back online.) Not to worry, however, as the pump top has 3 in & 3 out ports, allowing for great flexibility in routing your tubing. Alphacool also includes flush mount caps to cover 4 unused ports. There are also decoupling type "feet" that attach to the stands to help cushion any vibration. Included as well are two premounted 4 pin-type led strips with individual leads. Here I wish Alphacool would have combined the leads into a single one but a "Y" adapter will do the trick to plug into your motherboard or controller. All in all a typical well made Alphacool product. The price this is being offered at this time by Titan Rig is just a bargain in my opinion. I rate this product a full 5 stars.
