This bundle includes the Eisbaer Pro Aurora CPU AIO and the Thermal Grizzly 1700 Contact Frame.

The Alphacool Eisbaer Pro Aurora CPU AIO water cooler is a special development for processors with particularly large CPU cores. These include the AMD Threadripper and Epyc processors as well as the Intel CPUs for the LGA 3647 and LGA 4189 sockets.

Large cooling surface
The cooler base naturally covers the entire surface of the respective processors. The surface of the cooling fins, at around 55 x 42 mm, is larger than all known processor cores. This ensures that all hotspots of a CPU are directly flooded with water and optimally cooled. The cooling fins are 0.4 mm thick and are also at an optimal distance of 0.4 mm from each other. There are a total of 58 cooling fins on the cooler base. The cooler base is only 3 mm thick, which means that the heat can reach the water and be dissipated as quickly as possible.

Copper radiator
As is usual with Alphacool, the radiators are made of copper. Alphacool is the first manufacturer in the world to use copper for all water-carrying components such as the pre-chambers, cooling fins and cooling channels. The connection threads are made of brass for hardening reasons. The cooling fins are also only very lightly painted. If you look closely, the copper shines through a little. A thick coat of paint would reduce the cooling performance. The fin density is an optimal 15FPI. This means that the radiator works perfectly even at low airflow. Too high a fin density would require fans with a higher speed to achieve the same cooling performance. A lower fin density would no longer benefit from fast-rotating fans. So the happy medium was chosen.

A real water cooling system
The Eisbaer Pro Aurora consists almost entirely of real water cooling components. The extremely robust and durable TPV hoses are also used in the Enterprise products for servers and workstations. The hose connections also come from Alphacool's Enterprise series and use the standard G1/4" thread. This makes the Eisbaer Pro Aurora fully compatible with all common water cooling products. The quick release allows the AIO to be easily expanded with additional components. The pre-filled radiators and the Eiswolf GPU AIO water cooling are particularly worth mentioning here.

Fans and lighting
The entire Eisbaer Aurora cooler is equipped with addressable, digital RGB LEDs. This makes the case a real eye-catcher. The 120mm Aurora Rise Fan is used as the fan. The special blade design makes the fan extremely quiet and the addressable RGB LEDs provide brilliant lighting. The Alphacool Aurora Rise fan impresses with a max. statistical pressure of 3.17mm/H2O and offers a max. air flow of 119.8m³/h. The PWM control allows the fan to be controlled over a wide speed range. It also offers zero control. It can be regulated down to 0 rpm and then starts at around 350 rpm. Of course, all digital RGB LEDs can be controlled as desired. Depending on the controller, almost all effects are possible.

How is everything connected?
The fans are controlled as usual via a 4-pin PWM connector. A Y-adapter for the fans included in the delivery makes it easier to connect them to the mainboard. This means that all fans can be controlled and regulated via one connection. Each fan has a 3-pin JST connector including a Y adapter for the LED lighting. This means that the fans can be connected directly together and controlled synchronously via a controller. A corresponding adapter is included for connection to a typical 3-pin 5V connection. Alternatively, the included digital RGB controller can also be used. The pump of the Eisbaer Aurora uses a 3-pin Molex connector. This can also be connected to the mainboard.

The Eisbaer Pro Aurora is a true all-rounder. Expandable, fully compatible with DIY water cooling components and it is the optimal solution for the most powerful processors on the market.

With the Alphacool LGA 4677 Mounting Bracket (item no.: 13764) this cooler is also compatible with the Intel socket LGA 4677.

The Thermal Grizzly CPU Contact Frame Intel 1700 LT is a mounting aid for Intel mainboards with the LGA1700 socket. The contact frame replaces the standard ILM of the mainboard and improves the cooling performance of the CPU cooler through optimized contact pressure. The "Lite" version of the frame is manufactured using injection molding.

The Thermal Grizzly CPU Contact Frame Intel 1700 LT is the "Lite" version of the Intel 13th/14th Gen CPU Contact Frame and is manufactured by injection molding. The material used is an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer, which has a 15 percent glass fiber content for additional stability.

The standard Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) has contact points located in the centre of the elongated CPU. Due to the resulting uneven contact pressure of the processor into the socket, the surface of the Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) curves concavely. As a result, the base plate of the CPU cooler rests primarily on the edges of the IHS, so that the thermal "hotspot" in the middle of the CPU is not optimally covered.

The CPU Contact Frame Intel 1700 LT has a special inner contour to shift the contact pressure from the centre of the CPU to the edges during assembly. This avoids the concave curvature of the IHS. This results in CPU coolers resting better on the processor and a larger contact surface to dissipate the CPU's waste heat.

The installation of the Contact Frame is very simple and takes only a few steps. Depending on the CPU cooler and the CPU used, the temperatures of the processor can be noticeably reduced.

The CPU Contact Frame Intel 1700 LT is compatible with 12th, 13th and 14th generation processors for socket LGA1700. In addition, the frame is only compatible with CPUs whose Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) has been ground down by no more than 0.2 millimetres. When mounting, make sure that there are no electronic components under the frame. This is especially important for mainboards with the Mini-ITX form factor.

Removing the mainboard's Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) may invalidate the mainboard manufacturer's warranty!
