Alphacool Eisbaer Aurora LT240 CPU AIO and Thermal Grizzly AM5 Contact Frame Bundle

This bundle includes the Eisbaer Aurora LT240 CPU AIO and the Thermal Grizzly AM5 Contact Frame.

The Eisbaer LT Aurora CPU AIO water cooling system offers extremely good cooling performance thanks to the full copper radiator. The components used come from the classic DIY water cooling area and are also largely used in enterprise products for servers. The quick-release fastener allows the Eisbaer LT Aurora to be expanded with additional components.

The core is the DC-LT 2 pump.
The very compact and small DC-LT 2 pump has been further optimized compared to its predecessor. The impeller sits floating on a ceramic axis and is supported by two magnets. A 3-phase sine control ensures that the pump runs much more smoothly, which contributes significantly to minimizing noise. The pump offers enough power to integrate another component, such as a GPU water cooler or another radiator, into the circuit. Ideally, it is coupled with an Eiswolf 2 GPU AIO water cooling system. This also uses a DC-LT2 pump.

DIY connections and ES hoses
The hose connections come from the normal DIY segment and therefore use a G1/4" thread. Therefore, they can be replaced very easily. The black TPV hose, like the connectors, comes from the Alphacool ES series, which is primarily used in servers and workstations. The hose does not contain any plasticizers and, unlike classic PVC hoses, does not deform even at high temperatures. The quick-release fastener is not made of heavy brass, but of extremely light, durable and robust nylon. The quick-release fastener is compatible with many other models from the Alphacool product line.

Cooler
As with all Alphacool products, the cooler base is made of nickel-plated copper and is equipped with very fine cooling fins that are distributed across the entire base. A nozzle plate ensures an accelerated flow over the cooling fins, which increases the cooling performance. The water flow is optimized so that all areas of the cooler base are cooled evenly.

Full digital RGB equipment
The cooler pump unit and the fans are fully equipped with digital RGB LEDs, also known as addressable RGB or aRGB. Extensive effects can be set using the included controller or a digital RGB control on the mainboard. The illuminated polar bear on the cooler pump unit creates a nice visual effect. To make it easier to control via a controller, the fans and pumps can be connected in series as a daisy chain. This ensures clean wiring of the individual LED components.

Combination of contact frame and CPU guard
The AM5 Contact & Sealing Frame is a combination of Contact Frame and CPU-Guard for AMD's Ryzen-7000 processors. As a Contact Frame, the AM5 Contact & Sealing Frame creates optimal contact pressure of the CPU into the socket, while an optional, included inlay made of silicone foam serves to protect the exposed components on the CPU.

Optimized Inner Contour for Even Pressure Distribution
The precision-milled inner contour of the AM5 Contact & Sealing Frame creates multiple contact points to the heatspreader compared to the standard SAM. These contact points distribute the contact pressure on the CPU evenly. This ensures that the contact surfaces of the CPU rest uniformly on the pins of the socket. For example, problems with the detection of system memory can be avoided this way.

Innovative Silicone Foam Inlay for Protection and Sealing
The AM5 Contact & Sealing Frame comes with a silicone foam inlay. This can be placed on the PCB of the processor, similar to the AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU Guard. When installing the AM5 Contact & Sealing Frame, the gap between the heatspreader and the aluminium frame is sealed by the silicone foam by pressing the foam onto the PCB. This prevents thermal paste or liquid metal from getting onto the CPU's unprotected components. The foam inlay is optional when used with thermal pastes, but mandatory when used with liquid metal.

User-Friendly Assembly with Clear Marking and Compatibility
To simplify installation, there is a corresponding marking on the top of the AM5 Contact & Sealing Frame. Since the socket has a bulge on the upper - the "northern" - edge, mounting is only possible in one orientation. Four screws are included for mounting the frame and compatibility with the Thermal Grizzly AM5 backplates is given.
