Alphacool Core Ocean T38 120 CPU AIO and Thermal Grizzly 1851 Contact Frame Bundle

This bundle includes the Core Ocean AIO and the Thermal Grizzly 1851 Contact Frame.

With the Core Ocean AIO, Alphacool presents an all-in-one solution that, thanks to the excellent price-performance ratio, enables entry into performance-oriented CPU water cooling. The difference to the Eisbaer CPU AiO is that the Ocean All-in One is not expandable. There are no plans to add additional components such as GPU coolers, radiators or expansion tanks. But not necessary! The selection of components and the structure of the Core Ocean enable a long service life with low maintenance requirements for water cooling of all common mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel.

Aluminum Radiator
Compared to Alphacool's all-copper models, the T38 aluminum radiator has additional cooling channels. This technical design allows a significant increase in cooling performance without restrictively influencing the water flow within the radiator. Due to the low height of 38mm, the radiator with one-sided fan fitting fits into the tightest housing and enables powerful water cooling of the CPU.

Core fan
The fan can be controlled from 0 to 2500 rpm via the 4-pin PWM connection. The cable is 40cm long. This means you can connect the fan to the mainboard or a special controller without additional adapter cables or extensions. At 2500 rpm it allows an air flow of 62.8 CFM, coupled with a high static pressure of 2.13mm/H2O. This makes the fan perfect for mounting on water cooling radiators.

Cooler & Pump
As with all Alphacool products, the cooler base is made of copper and is equipped with very fine cooling fins that are distributed over the entire base. A nozzle plate ensures accelerated flow over the cooling fins, which increases cooling performance. The water flow is optimized so that all areas of the radiator base are cooled evenly. The cooler is compatible with all common mainstream sockets from AMD and Intel. The built-in pump has a speed range of 2500 - 3500 RPM (+/- 10%) and can be controlled via PWM. The pump is connected to the mainboard or an external controller via the existing 4-pin fan connection. This allows the speed range of the pump to be controlled and read out.

Hoses & connections
The FEP hoses are 40cm long, sleeved and very flexible. The rotatable 360° connections to the cooler and radiator are permanently installed and cannot be replaced. The combination of hose and connection allows the AiO to be positioned very variably, even in the tightest PC housing.

lighting
There are 12 digitally addressable 5V RGB LEDs installed in the pump housing, which create unique, very elegant lighting. The digital aRGB LED lighting is connected via a JST 3-pin connector. To control the lighting, the 3-pin female connector must be connected to a digital RGB controller (not included) or a digital RGB capable mainboard. Additional digital RGB LEDs can be connected to the remaining 3-pin male connector.

Thermal paste
The thermal paste included in delivery has a thermal conductivity of 7.5 W/mK. The thermal grease does not harden, is well suited for high contact pressures and can be processed perfectly due to the optimally selected viscosity.

The Intel 1851 CPU Contact Frame V1 is the version of the well-known mounting aid tailored to Intel motherboards with the LGA1851 socket. By using the Intel 1851 CPU Contact Frame V1, the concave bending of the CPU’s Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) caused by the standard Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) is avoided. This results in better contact between the CPU cooler and the IHS, improving cooling performance.

Installing the contact frame is very simple and requires only a few steps. First, the motherboard's Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) must be removed. Depending on the CPU cooler and the CPU used, processor temperatures can be noticeably reduced. When switching from the Reduced-Load ILM (RL-ILM) used on some LGA1851 motherboards, temperature reductions of up to 4°C can be expected, and up to 6°C when switching from the standard ILM.

The Intel 1851 CPU Contact Frame V1 is compatible with Intel Core Ultra 200 Series processors for the LGA1851 socket. Additionally, the frame is compatible with CPUs whose Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) has been sanded down by no more than 0.2 millimeters. Care must be taken during installation to ensure no electronic components are located under the frame, especially with Mini-ITX form factor motherboards.

Removing the Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) from the motherboard may void the manufacturer's warranty for the motherboard!
